I'm going to be living in Edington, Wiltshire. From what I know it's way out in the middle of nowhere, but its 30 minutes from Stonehenge and about an hour from Bath which is fantastic.
I have to learn to drive stick within the next 24 days, so I have a feeling the message in the picture above is specifically directed at me, since I've only had one lesson.
I will not be posting anymore until the date of my departure is closer but I wanted to get starting this damn thing out of the way. I think it will be a nice way to keep in contact with you and share with you the adventures that I'm going on (and hopefully the Karaoke I'll be singing in new and exotic locations...if you can count Europe as exotic). This is what Edington looks like, its very quaint.
I'm very lucky because my good friend Gabby will be in Spain around the same time I'll be in England, so I have someone to adventure with. My goal is to visit the home town of both my grandmothers in Germany, the town that my maternal grandfather is from in Italy, and my paternal grandfathers line in England. I also am hoping to go to Morocco and visit the blue city (its actual name is Chefchaouen),and all around Turkey.
